Talents, teams and more details revealed for Dota 2 All Star Weekend

Though its announcement came as a surprise to the community, more details were revealed about the upcoming Dota 2 All Star Weekend set for October.

The event, which initially promised world-class Dota 2 talent and teams, also hinted at bands, dance crews and other activities.

But as of yesterday, Poplife, the company behind the event revealed two international casters: Ben “Merlini” Wu and Toby “Tobiwan” Dawson will be attending the All Star Weekend. Hosts Jake “SirActionSlacks” Kanner and Pinda Rika “pindaPanda” Dorji are also set to make an appearance.

Also revealed is Virtus.Pro, one of the most dominating teams of the 2016-2017 season and runner-ups of the Kiev Major, to join the main attraction of the weekend: The Manila Invitational — a four-way exhibition match against other top teams.

The Philippine’s own TNC Pro Team have also confirmed participation for invitational bout.

The Dota 2 All Star Weekend will be hosted in the Mall of Asia Arena on October 13-15, 2017.

Ticket prices start at ₱530 for general admission. VIP tickets to sell for ₱7950. Tickets may be bought from SM Tickets Online.
