GameClub Philippines, the publishers of the first-person shooter (FPS) Crossfire (CF), has commenced the national qualifiers for the Crossfire Stars (CFS) 2015 tournament. CFS is considered to be the franchise’s premier tournament, featuring teams from all over the world; last year, Pacific.Macta surprised everyone when they took thrid place at the last edition of the CFS held in Seoul, South Korea.

This year’s regional eliminations is expected to be bigger and brighter as GameClub, in partnership with SM Supermalls and Cyberzone, will conduct 15 elimination stages all over the country throughout a 7-month period. With a total prize pool of P450,000, teams from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will have a chance to show their talents in front of huge crowds at various locations across the country.

The above-mentioned prize pool does not include yet the figures for the National Finals itself, which will be held at the Skydome in SM North Edsa this coming October.
