GameClub Philippines Announces Schedule Change For The Razer NeXT Crossfire Tournament

GameClub Philippines, the publishers of Crossfire, have announced on their official Facebook page that certain changes will be implemented in the schedule of the upcoming legs of the Razer NeXT Crossfire Tournament.

In the past editions of the tournament, the following format has been applied:

Qualifiers: 1st Saturday of the month
Group Stage: 2nd Saturday of the month
Conference Final: 3rd Saturday of the month
Wave Final: 4th Saturday of the month

However, the following waves of the tournament will be held on Sundays instead of Saturdays and instead of a month-long schedule, each leg is to be conducted during the first three weeks of each month, beginning with the third leg of the Razer NeXT Crossfire Tournament on Sunday, June 7.

The changes in the tournament schedule are intended to give organizers the necessary room to conduct their tournaments in a more efficient manner, as well as to reduce scheduling clashes as much as possible.

These changes reflect the fact that it is a very packed season for Philippine CrossFire this year. Currently, there are three major events that are in line for the 2015 season, with the addition of the ongoing regional eliminations for the CrossFire Stars 2015 tournament, which is considered to be the game’s premier event.

CrossFire is an online tactical FPS for PC by South Korean developer SmileGate. The game is currently the largest and bestselling FPS title in China, where it is published and distributed by Tencent.
