Street Fighter V Character Accidentally Leaked
While we were all happy to see Zangief back in action for Street Fighter V, we had another surprise to look forward almost immediately after his reveal. This time however, the announcement was done unintentionally.
Earlier today an accidental leak for a new character in SFV came out from Japanese gaming publication Famitsu. The photos over at their site showcase an all new character from Brazil named Laura. Based on the screens, the character utilizes Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and electricity based attacks, possibly a homage to the green-skinned lightning-ball Blanka. Many expected her to be announced at the Brasil Game Show this coming October.
It seems the leak did not sit well with Street Fighter producer Yoshinori Ono.
Those familiar with his antics know that Ono is very active when it comes to interacting with the community and the fans. For character announcements and reveals, he loves to personally post teasers on social media. The Blanka loving producer expressed his sentiments on Twitter:

With Laura revealed, we have two characters left to complete Street Fighter V’s initial roster.
