Beyond the lights and sounds of ESGS, the biggest Philippine gaming convention of the year, players from the fighting game community duked it out on the digital battlefield. One of these communities in particular was Super Smash Bros. Philippines. Started just last year, they have managed to grow their community to the point wherein both of their events had many players and spectators alike.

Story-lines and rivalries were settled over the course of two days at the SMX Convention Center. Super Smash Bros. Melee in particular featured an exhibition match with 10,000PHP on the line. To catch up with the plot, eSports by Inquirer released a primer on the local competitive scene last week.

We’ve prepared some info-graphics summarizing the event below. It covers all the recorded statistics and results for both Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. For Wii U.
