Secret Wins Nanyang Championships
After a nail-biting five-game grand finals, Secret bagged the championship and defeated the Chinese powerhouse, Vici Gaming (VG), during the NanYang Dota 2 Championships in Singapore.
They were undefeated during the winner bracket and will take home over $109,000 (Php 5.1 million). VG, on the other hand, climbed their way to the grand finals after they were defeated by EHome in the winner bracket.
It was an intense fight against the two teams. VG won the first game but Team Secret retaliated and took two consecutive wins. With only one more win needed for Secret to grabbed the gold, VG latched on their final hope to victory and won the fourth game.
Both teams gave their all in the last match. Secret dominated the last game and was victorious.
