The MSI Beat IT! 2014 Global LAN Finals concludes with Virtus Pro grabbing the title against Team Immunity in the grand finals, a final score of 3-1. The Australian team brought out amazing team fights and showed very good game play throughout the game, taking the first game of the series. However, it was not enough to stop the Russians from claiming their first LAN title in a very long time.

Before reaching the Grand Finals, Virtus.Pro had to face CDEC Gaming; the Russians took the first slot to the grand finals with a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, Rave was beaten by Team Immunity with a score of 2-1 and were dropped to a deciding match against CDEC Gaming. They took fourth place after losing to CDEC with a score of 2-0.

In Starcraft 2, Solar grabs the Starcraft 2 championship after an amazing series against Parting. It is interesting to note that Parting was just one map away from grabbing the trophy (3-1). However, an intense effort from Solar enabled him to rally back and bring the series to the full distance. In the final map, Solar’s aggressive zergling opening was rewarded with huge dividends as the Protoss economy could not keep up with the pressure. This will be Solar’s second major title this year; the other one being the 2014 Dreamhack Open: Stockholm, where he defeated so0 with a score of 3-0 in the grand finals.
