Na’Vi Crowned at Bucharest
After expertly using their one-game Winner’s Bracket advantage, Natus Vincere (Na’Vi) were crowned the D2CL Bucharest champions after a quick 3-0 win against Team Tinker.
For securing first place, Na’Vi went home with the $38,000 prize in a series of quick and decisive games over the relatively new team.
Despite shaky performance leading up to the main event, Na’Vi began the Winner’s Bracket with a 2-0 win over Empire before dropping Team Tinker to the Loser’s Bracket and securing a one game advantage for the finals.
Meanwhile, Team Tinker defeats Empire 2-1 through the creative play of Max “qojqva” Broecker and the team’s Legion Commander picks.
In the finals, Na’Vi employed their signature heavy aggression line-ups and took very early first-blood kills to start off both games.
The roaming death squad of Vengeful Spirit, Puck and Ogre Magi coming out of Na’Vi put Team Tinker on the back foot long enough for the Legion Commander and Weaver to run rampant and unanswered. Despite having the classic Io and Tiny combination for Team Tinker, the massive gold and experience advantage from Na’Vi proved too much.
In game two, Team Tinker shifted gears and drafted a more aggressive combination of Legion Commander, Nyx Assassin and Elder Titan to look for pickoffs across the map. With the heavy damage and tankability items coming out of Tinker, the team dominated the mid-game with Na’Vi’s Treant Protector and other supports hard-pressed to keep control of the map from Team Tinker.
In the end however, Team Tinker was not able to finish the game before Alexander “XBOCT” Dashkevich’s Medusa came online and quickly dismantled Tinker’s lead. Na’Vi ends the game thanks to their late-game inevitably to secure the title and the first place prize.

2nd – $19,059 -Team Tinker
