Game one postscript: Mineski’s showing in the early game was impressive. Their sustained aggression with the early rotations and four to five-man unit clash proved to be a burden to Secret, forcing the latter to stall the game.
Secret used all possible mechanisms to create space for their core hero which they succeed. Throughout the game, their core heroes topped the net worth charts despite Mineski leading the kill scoreboards.
However, Mineski, even with some gold advantage over the opposition, chose to play the game at the same pace as Secret’s. The stalling of the game favored more Secret side as they were the one’s lagging behind.
Another crucial point was the responses. Mineski’s aggression was controlled coming in the middle part of the game. Secret tried to find pick-offs which they did. If Mineski wants to force a game three decider they should exert more aggression and sustain it throughout the game. They should play their game and not Secret’s game. Because if they do so, then perhaps we would see the same result as game one.
