Mineski to Represent SEA in The Summit 4; Jay to be Replaced by Jeyo
After some amazing runs at the Nanyang Dota 2 Championship as well as the Frankfurt Fall Dota 2 Major, Mineski-Dota looks to extend their hot form as they represent the Southeast Asian region in the fourth edition of The Summit this coming December 7 at the BTS Studios in Los Angeles.
However, Mineski-Dota decided to call on the services of Jio “Jeyo” Madayag as a potential substitute for Ryan “Bimbo” Jay Qui after the latter encountered some Visa issues.
This installment of The Summit will feature a base prize pool of $100,000 (~P4,700,000), with Compendium and Chest sales to increase the pool further. It will also showcase some of the best Dota 2 teams from all over the world, which include Fall Major champions OG, TI 5 winners EG and a veteran Chinese side in the form of Vici Gaming, among others.
It remains to be seen whether Bimbo will be able to iron out his application in time.
UPDATE:
Here is an update regarding the status of Mineski-Dota from their official Facebook page. It does not show Bimbo’s Visa with it.

Will Jay make it? Or will Jeyo get to stand in for Mineski in the last big-ticket tourney of the year?
It remains to be seen whether Bimbo can catch up with the rest of the team.
