A championship and a huge cash prize is probably be one of the best gifts ever received by Alliance’s offlaner Henrik “AdmiralBulldog” Ahnberg.

The Swedish team, Alliance, defeated China’s LGD-3:2-in a best of five grand final championship of this year’s World Cyber Arena (WCA) 2015. They will take home over $370 thousand (Php 17.4 million).

Alliance’s performance might also grant them the chance to qualify in the Shanghai Major, the second Dota 2 tournament organized by Valve.

It was a painful experience for LGD fans as Alliance took game 5 with ease. LGD had a glimpse of hope during the third and fourth game but they weren’t able to stop Alliance’s signature tactic. The strength of Alliance’s heroes during the deciding match are pushing lanes and towers; from Naga Siren, Tiny to Jakiro. The last-minute Rapier by LGD’s Ember Spirit was no longer a sign of hope but rather of desperation.
