Evolution 2016 Event Lineup Announced; Mandalay Bay Finals
Evolution is one of the world’s longest running fighting game tournament series. Every year, gamers from all over the world fly out to Las Vegas to compete in the most popular fighting games as well as to interact with fellow enthusiasts. Boasting over 2000 attendees, developer panels, dozens of side-events and a large expo, it’s always the definitive place to be for any fighting game fan.

With the full details announced earlier today by Joey “Mr. Wizard” Cuellar, Evolution 2016 is set to take place on July 15 – 17 at a larger venue than last year’s Paris Hotel: The Las Vegas Convention Center. Also, the long-running series will have its grand finals take place at the Mandalay Bay Events Center which has hosted many top-level boxing and UFC matches in the past.

There will be nine games this year, two of which are entirely new additions: Pokken Tournament and Street Fighter V. Aside from this, the set of games from last year remains mostly intact, save for the removal of Persona 4 Ultimax and Ultra Street Fighter IV.
