Let’s Go Jammin’ in This Year’s Global Game Jam

Take part in a global event this January 29-31 in various places around the country where game enthusiasts can jam together and celebrate game development and everything about games!

Global Game Jam is an annual event where game developers from all around the world gather to mingle and collaborate with other game developers. Each year, Global Game has a specific theme that challenges the participants to create a game relating to it. This aims to form camaraderie and create more opportunities in the game development industry.


Started in 2009, Global Game Jam became the Hackathon for game developers. From 23 countries participated that year, the even grew and had 78 countries participated last 2015.

For security, jammers stay on site after 10 p.m. and can enter the next day by 8 a.m.
