Back in February 2016, the electronic sports associations of Southeast Asia, in partnership with ASEAN, have announced a 1 million MYR (Php 11.5 million~) tournament for gamers from all over Southeast Asia.

Spearheaded by the Malaysian Ministry Youth & Sports, Ministry of Communications & Multimedia, and Ministry of Higher Education, the ASEAN Games for eSports (AGES) aims to unite “gaming fans from all over the region” and gather the best gaming talent from all over the region in order to showcase their skills.
Where does the Philippines fit into this?
The Philippine eSports Organization (PeSO) will be the entity that will organize the Philippine Qualifiers for AGES 2016, which will be held from April 30-May 1, 2016.
Winners of each category will represent the Philippines at AGES 2016, with flight and accommodation covered.
All players who want to participate in any of the titles below are required to have a valid passport.
Here are the following categories:
Dota 2
The AGES Philippine Dota 2 qualifier will be played online. Teams will be selected on an invite basis.
Matches will start from 7 p.m. onwards.

CS:GO
Similarly with Dota 2, the AGES Philippine CS:GO Qualifier will also be played online. However, any team can join the tournament as long as they meet the necessary conditions.
Matches will start from 1 p.m. onwards.

FIFA ’16
As for FIFA ’16, aspiring Filipino players can register on this link.
The PlayPad Gaming Lounge in Mandaluyong City will serve as the venue for the AGES Philippine FIFA ’16 Qualifier.
Each player should pay a registration fee of P500.
Matches will start at 1 p.m.
AGES 2016 is a part of an initiative by various eSports organizations from all over the SEA region in cooperation with ASEAN, which include the Philippine eSports Organization (PeSO), Singaporean Cybersports & Online Gaming Association (SCOGA) and Indonesian eSports Association (IeSPA), among others.
