Secret Send EHOME Away with a 2-0 Finish
Bouncing back from their losses against Empire, Team Secret put on a livelier show by dominating EHOME, 2-0, to knock them out of ESL ONE Manila.
With the win, Team Secret will face Empire yet again. The winner in their rematch series will face Group B’s top seeded team in Fnatic.
The Games
Team Secret’s series against EHOME saw a starkly different team from the group stages. In their first game, Secret managed to put away the Chinese team in 25 minutes, winning with a score line of 22-3.
EHOME target banned many of Secret’s power jungle picks, going after PieLieDie’s Bounty Hunter and Puppey’s Chen and Enchantress. Secret responded by picking up comfort heroes for Arteezy and Universe. Both players posted high kill scores on Invoker and Nature’s Prophet respectively.
Secret rounded their draft with a surprise Drow pick for EternalEnvy, while EHOME responded with a tankier front-line in Bristleback for LaNm. In the end, Secret’s strategy proved stronger as Universe, Puppey and Arteezy lead rotations to allow EternalEnvy to make quick work of their towers.

Game 2 did not improve for the Chinese squad. While EHOME learned to target ban Arteezy and Universe, Secret answered with an aggressive support duo pick in Doom and Lion. EHOME would also give up two strong meta picks to Secret as Puppey chose Beastmaster and Obsidian Destroyer to round out the pick phase.
Secret managed to put away the Chinese team in 23 minutes. Arteezy scored at least three Triple Kills and ended the game with an 18-2 score line.
