Mineski, TNC Off To Manila Major SEA Qualifier Finals, Filipino Team Guaranteed to Compete in Main Event
With Mineski beating Malaysian side Orange.Taring after three grueling maps, Filipino fans have much reason to rejoice as the Philippines is now assured of a slot at this year’s Manila Major.
TNC has beaten down Mineski with a 2-0 clean sweep earlier in the day in order to secure their slot in the grand finals of the Southeast Asian Qualifiers.
The match between TNC and Mineski is scheduled to be held in less than an hour, with the winner representing the Philippines in the Spring Major.
During the Shanghai Major SEA Main Qualifiers, Mineski, TNC and Execration also fought in their respective groups, but have been unable to reach the playoffs. Fnatic and MVP.Phoenix eventually secured their slots for the Spring Major after getting 1st and 2nd place in the playoffs, respectively.
Other Southeast Asian teams at the Dota 2 Major include MVP.Phoenix, who is just off a LAN win at WePlay Season 3, as well as Fnatic, who have shown an amazing performance at ESL One Manila.
