BTS Announces The Summit 5 Invites and Redemption Vote
After finishing qualifiers for each of the four major regions, The Summit 5 organizers Beyond the Summit (BTS) have announced the teams filling in the remaining slots.
Joining the 4 qualified teams are Team OG, Natus Vincere (Na’Vi) and Team Liquid. This rounds out the teams for this tournament to:
- Team OG – Invite
- Na’Vi – Invite
- Team Liquid – Invite
- Wings Gaming – Chinese Qualifiers
- Digital Chaos – American Qualifiers
- Fnatic – SEA Qualifiers
- Ad Finem – EU Qualifiers
- Redemption Team
The last remaining slot, the ‘Redemption Team’, will be a publicly voted team out of those who competed in the qualifiers. While every BTS subscriber receives 10 votes from the get go, additional votes can be claimed via buying paraphernalia at the ‘Summit 5 Shop’ and contributing to its ‘Summit 5 Compendium’, all of which can be found on Smash.gg.
