Singaporean Dota 2 Superstar Meracle Joins Mineski.Sports5
Singaporean superstar Gavin “Meracle” Kang officially joins the ranks of Mineski.Sports5 as the team prepares for the 2016 Pro Gamer League (PGL) Summer Finals.
After standing-in for Mineski during the Mr. Cat Invitational, the team formally announced in a press release that Meracle will be bolstering their roster after they failed to qualify for The International 2016. With their acquisition of Meracle and, most recently, Michael “Ninjaboogie” Ross, Mineski also announced that they will be benching Benhur “Benhur” Lawis and Mark “Cast” Pilar to make way for their new members.
Meracle will be taking on the carry role for Mineski, as Ryan Jay “Raging-_-Potato” Qui will be returning to his signature midlane role. Meanwhile, Michael “Ninjaboogie” Ross will be joining the main team as the 5-position support after first being announced as a sub when he was first picked up.

Meracle, not to be confused with the 9K MMR player from OG, was a member of numerous Singaporean stacks, including First Departure, 5eva, and Scythe Gaming, from 2012 to 2015 before he joined Mineski.
One of the most famous players from the SEA region, Meracle is renowned for his play making and split-pushing skills on heroes like Naga Siren and Anti-Mage, with his opponents often first-banning those heroes when facing against him.
Mineski will debut its new lineup in the PGL 2016 Summer Finals on July 23 in China, where they will be facing against the likes of MVP Phoenix, EHOME, and CDEC Gaming.
