Rampage 2016: Iloilo’s AEX Upset Manila’s IPT for Summer Split Title

Iloilo-based Acclaim Empire X (AEX) has secured the championship title of PGS Summer Split 2016, the premiere League of Legends circuit in the Philippines.

AEX finished their Cinderella run after defeating the defending champion Imperium Pro Team at Rampage 2016 held at the World Trade Center in Pasay City. For being the Summer Split champion, AEX will receive a cash prize of PHP 150,000. They will also get to represent the Philippines in the upcoming Garena Premiere League in Vietnam.
AEX finished the summer split with a win-loss record of 7 wins and 7 losses. They were 5th in the overall standing.
