Energy Drink Bacchus, in Partnership With Convenience Store 7-Eleven, Announces Promo With Game League of Legends Philippines
Bacchus energy drink announced Thursday the mechanics for their latest promo that lets League of Legends players win in-game items. This is the first partnership between League of Legends Philippines and a non-gaming consumer brand.
Bacchus energy drink, in cooperation with 7-Eleven, launched the promo “Drive your energy” in an official post in Facebook. The promo lets you get a point for buying a can of Bacchus at a 7-Eleven store. You can then exchange your accumulated points for in-game skins.
Although the promotion is not that big in scale, the move implies that some companies are already trying to acknowledge the growing popularity of eSports and gaming in the country.
Benj Dalmacio, eSports manager for Garena Philippines, expressed his gratitude to Bacchus for supporting the gaming community.
“We are very grateful for all the support Bacchus has been giving League of Legends and eSports in general for the past few months and we look forward to working with them for years to come.” He said in an interview with eSportsINQ.
He also alluded that there will be more promotion in the future. “This promo is just one of the many things we’re coming up with them, so keep your eyes peeled!”
