DeMoN, Raven and Kuku are leaving TNC
It seems the roster shuffle are not over just yet. TNC’s historic, top 6 team has made some surprising moves earlier today as three of their five The International players have left the team, according to Valve’s player tracker.
Jimmy “DeMoN” Ho, the North American veteran and Dota 2 mercenary, has left the team. Although no official statement has been issued, it seems that playing full time in the Philippines for TNC is a factor in his decision to leave the team.
DeMoN has stated in past interviews at TI6 that TNC was the best team he has had. He joined the Filipino team shortly after the Manila Major to make a run at TI. Their top 8 finish is his most successful run so far.
Two other mainstays, namely Marc “Raven” Fausto and Carlo “Kuku” Palad have also left the team. Raven, who wowed the international community at TI6, was one of the second wave of TNC players. Kuku on the other hand made a name for himself from Mineski where he competed for the team at the Frankfurt Major.
With their departure, this leaves only two players on TNC’s squad, captain Nico “Eyyou” Barcelon and offlaner Sam “SamH” Hidalgo. More on this as it develops.
