Aurelion Sol Visual Bug Disrupts Last Game for 2016 Worlds Group Stage Day 1
Just a few minutes after starting today’s last game between TSM and Royal Never Give Up, TSM’s mid laner, Bjergsen, reports that he couldn’t see Aurelion Sol’s orbs. The game was quickly paused to pinpoint the problem and try to fix it.
The analysts speculated that it may just be a visual bug associated with the skin RNG’s Xiaohu was using and, if that was the case, could easily be remedied by switching skins. After checking the problem and trying several fixes, it seems that the problem is much bigger and can’t be fixed easily. The teams were given a short break before the match is fully remade with new picks and bans.
For the meantime, Aurelion Sol is TEMPORARILY disabled until League officials say that the bug is fixed. If Aurelion Sol remains banned for the whole of 2016 Worlds, this will greatly affect the championship since he is a hotly contested champion due to his power and roaming capabilities.
