Bet you didn’t expect to see a Dota 2 pro on a list together with Sasha and Malia Obama, didn’t you?

TIME has named Syed Sumail “Suma1L” Hassan as one of the 30 Most Influential Teens of 2016, mostly on the back of his record-setting prize earnings on his debut year.

Suma1L, now 16, first burst into the scene as EG’s midlaner for the Dota Asian Championships where they took first place. The team later repeated their win at The International 5, making Suma1L the youngest person to have ever won more than $1 million on eSports.

Today, Suma1L’s estimated prize earnings are at over $2.3 million thanks to his wins at The Summit 4, MarsTV Dota 2 Autumn League and third place finishes at the Frankfurt and Shanghai Major. EG also finished third at this year’s The International.
