Mushi’s Closure
After Mushi left Team Malaysia, many people have wondered why it all happened when the team was just on its track to becoming a stable team in the Southeast Asian region. To put it into context, they just booked a ticket to the Synergy League LAN Finals in Russia and they consistently performed at the top of their game despite the fact that they had some unstable moments every now and then.
In a recent Facebook update on his official page, Chai “Mushi” Yee Fung, former captain and player of Team Malaysia, explains the answers to the following questions:
1. Why do they ban Riki and Huskar?
Basically, he’s trying to say that they are doing these bans in order to be able to counterpick more properly and to pick lineups that are more synergized and integrated with the strategy that they want to implement throughout the game.
2. Why did they create Team Malaysia?
He admits that China gave him more financial opportunities and that Titan gave a very competitive contract. However, members of the team had some internal issues, which he does not want to talk about because he feels it’s inappropriate to do so.
As for Yamateh, he says that they are good friends in real life. However, they have issues in-game, mainly stemming from the fact that the two of them have different approaches to professional gaming and the game in general.
3. Why did he leave Team Malaysia? What are his plans?
He claims that he left the team in peace and that he has always been best friends with them no matter what happens. He also says that he left the team for the sake of stability. He confesses that he has been tough on his teammates and that they can play more comfortably without him.
He is not sure of his next destination, although he has plans to join either a Chinese or Western team.
Overall, the post has addressed the main issues that have been linked to Team Malaysia over the past few days, and it is left to the readers to ask the following questions:
1. What will happen to Team Malaysia now? Who will replace Mushi?
2. Where will he go? Apparently, now that he is a free agent, many teams would like to have him on board.
Only time will tell.
