Former Renegades Jungler Crumbz to Launch Esports Talent Agency APE
You may know him as the former Renegades jungler, turned Riot desk analyst Alberto “Crumbz” Rengifo, but the prophet is going to be entering a new phase in his eSports career — on that’s focused on helping out fellow players represent themselves in eSports.
In a video on his YouTube channel, Crumbz announced that he will be launching a brand new esports talent agency together with partners from traditional sports.
Called APE or the Agency for Professional Esports, Crumbz says that he was approached by agents from Hollywood and the NFL.
“With the way esports has been growing right now, I just couldn’t say no so I jumped on board,” said Crumbz in his announcement video, “What’s being built is an Agency for Professional Esports; APE for short. The whole goal of APE is to provide services to the clients that range from contract negotiations, individual sponsorships, branding, and post-career management.”
Esports talent agencies seem to be popping up all over the place. On the same day, eSports lawyer Bryce Blum announced that he will be taking up the mantle of VP for Cataclysm, a talent agency for Sports, and Esports.
