On Sunday, Team Secret defeated Execration in a whitewash 3-0 affair.

Both teams advanced to the finals by defeating the top teams involved in the tournament. Team Secret best Mineski, who placed third overall, 2-1. Execration meanwhile went through EHOME.X and also escaped with a 2-1 score.

But the series between the two teams quickly devolved into a one-sided stomp. Team Secret looked in excellent form despite playing with a newly-acquired substitute, German player and former Escape Gaming offlaner Maurice “KheZu” Gutmann.

The damage was too much to bear as the tankiest heroes on Execration couldn’t stand against MP. In the end, Secret take the base at 28 minutes.

Though not participating in the Boston Major, Team Secret will be back in Asia early next year for a string of tournaments. Execration, in the meantime, will be substituting out Rafael “Rapy” Sicat Palo for Adam “343” Shah en route to the Boston Major later this month.
