Faker, SK Telecom, Win Big at KeSPA Awards 2016
The Korea eSports Association’s 2016 eSports Awards concluded last night, celebrating the country’s top eSports players, teams and organization.
Among the winners, League of Legends’ greatest player, Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok and his team, SK Telecom 1 reaped major awards at the ceremony, with faker himself bagging the League of Legends Best Player Award and the overall Grand Prize.

Other winners included Faker’s teammates, Lee “Wolf” Jae-wan, Bae “Bengi” Seong-woong and Bae “Bang” Jun-sik winning the popularity award together with ROX Tigers Top Laner, Song “Smeb” Kyung-ho.
Street Fighter V EVO 2016 champion Infiltration won the Best Overseas Activity of Year award – Players category for his continued dominance in fighting game community in 2016.
