Michael ‘ninjaboogie’ Ross leaves Filipino Dota 2 team TNC Predator
Professional gamer Michael “ninjaboogie” Ross has left Filipino competitive Dota 2 team TNC Predator, according to the organization’s official Facebook account on Tuesday.
Ross served as the team’s captain from Sept. 6, 2018 up to his departure on Feb. 5, 2019.
Nico “eyyou” Barcelon of Southeast Asian team Lotac will be Ross’ temporary replacement, while teammate Carlo “Kuku” Palad will take over as team captain.
TNC Predator’s recent roster shakeup is the latest in its tumultuous lineup history.
On Sept. 5, 2018, Sam “SamH” Hidalgo and Marc “Raven” Fausto both left the team just after TNC Predator finished in the 13th to 16th bracket in The International 2018, the largest Dota 2 tournament of the year.
TNC assured the team’s fans that they will still be participating in the StarLadder ImbaTV Invitational Season 6 to be held in Kiev, Ukraine despite the roster changes. JB
