Evil Geniuses have officially announced their new lineup for the upcoming season.  Gustav “s4” Magnusson has been released into free agency, whereas star midlaner Sumail “SumaiL” Hassan remains under contract but is open to transfer negotiations. They will be replaced by Abed Azel L. Yusop from Fnatic and Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev from Virtus.pro.

Abed has previously played for teams such as Execration, Digital Chaos, and Fnatic. The 19-year-old Filipino midlaner is famous for being the first player to reach 10,000 MMR and has consistently been one of the top players from the SEA region in recent years. Meanwhile, RAMZES666 will be switching from hard carry to offlane. He was instrumental to Virtus.pro’s 2nd place finish in last season’s Dota Pro Circuit, but the team surprisingly performed well below expectations in The International 2019.

The new Evil Geniuses Roster for the 2019-2020 Dota Pro Circuit will be composed of:

  • Artour “Arteezy” Babaev
  • Abed “Abed” Yusop
  • Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev
  • Andreas “Cr1t” Nielsen
  • Tal “Fly” Aizik

The new Evil Geniuses squad is set to make their debut in the joint Major and Minor qualifiers scheduled for early October.
