Liyab has come out on top of the SEA Invitational, beating out three other regional teams and winning a ₱1M cash prize in tow.
First beating the SEA Serpents in Day 1 of Globe Conquerors Manila, Liyab started strong with Edrian “DoeDoii” Brancia’s Lee Sin leading the team’s charge right off the gate. In the Finals, Liyab handily took control of the series all throughout with a dominating 3-0 victory against fellow local organization, SteelWolves Gaia. In their games, Liyab’s smart rotations and overwhelming jungle presence ended up proving too much for their competitors.
With their victory in the tournament, Liyab established itself as the premier LoL esports team in the country and Southeast Asia – restoring a semblance of lost Pinoy pride in the Philippine League of Legends scene.
