LGD Announce SEA-based International Squad for 19-20 Season
Chinese esports organization LGD has announced that it will be fielding a new international Dota 2 lineup for the 2019 – 2020 season.
The team will be based in the Philippines, and will reportedly begin the construction of a training facility in Pampanga and an esports arena in Cebu. While the roster remains unknown, it is expected to consist of upcoming talent from the SEA region.
This marks LGD’s second foray into the international scene. The organization previously ran a lineup consisting of Dominik “Black^” Reitmeier, Per Anders Olsson “Pajkatt” Lille, Braxton “Brax” Paulson, Rasmus “MiSeRy” Filipsen, and Nicholas “xFreedom” Kevin Illeto Lim. The original LGD International squad disbanded after finishing 9th-12th in TI3.
