PH Drops, THA Rises in Arena of Valor Group Stage of 2019 SEA Games
Dota 2 and Arena of Valor finally make their way to the 30th Southeast Asian Games midway into the esports events at the FilOil Flying VCentre in San Juan, Manila.
The participating countries were grouped into two separate groups composed of four teams per group in a round robin format.

Thailand took down Vietnam in the tiebreaker to place themselves in the upper bracket in Group A, knocking out the Philippines and Myanmar along the way.

Meanwhile, Indonesia, Laos, and Malaysia are in a three-way tie for first place in Group B. Indonesia managed to secure the upper bracket slot, while Malaysia edged out Laos to secure the last playoff spot of the bracket.

The fight for medals continue tomorrow, 8th of December in the Dota 2 and Arena of Valor playoffs starting 9:30 AM with the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Grand Finals at 7:00 PM.
