PH Secures Dota 2 Gold Medal Match Spot, VIE to Face THA in Lower Bracket Finals in 2019 SEA Games
The Playoffs for Dota 2 kick off at the 30th Southeast Asian Games today at the FilOil Flying VCentre in San Juan, Manila.
The Top 2 of Groups A and B were placed into the upper and lower brackets accordingly and made to fight their way to the top.

In the first series of the day, the Philippines swept Vietnam off its feet with a 2-0 record after a back-and-forth series opener, followed by a dominant 31-6 kill score in Game 2.
In the lower bracket semis, Thailand took down Laos with a close back-and-forth match in Game 1. Following their momentum, THA crushed LAO in under barely 30-minutes in the second game to secure their spot in the lower bracket Finals and, at the least, a Bronze medal finish.
The fight for gold continues tomorrow the 9th of December in the Dota 2 Grand Finals starting 4:OO PM.
