After a back-and-forth Grand Finals, another ragtag bunch of amateurs in Wanap wins Season 3 of the League of Legends Philippine Pro Gaming League 2019 in Glorietta, Manila.
Following the antics of Hey Gaming in the last season, Wanap took down Liyab Esports 2-1 in a nail-biting series. Throughout the series, Wanap focused on Liyab’s bot lane neutralizing the duo and snowballing off dragon.
Wanap’s victory in PPGL Season 3 is undeniable proof that the Philippines’ League of Legends amateur scene is still alive and kicking.
