FC Schalke 04’s 0-6 start to the spring split of the League of Legends European Championship, returning veteran Konstantinos-Napoleon “FORG1VEN” Tzortziou has decided to step down from the competitive roster stating differences in work ethics.

In his announcement, Forg1ven mentions how the organization is unable to make the changes needed to improve the team’s play. Schalke was predicted to perform better than their current standing in the pre-season with veterans such as Andrei “Odoamne” Pascu and Erberk “Gilius” Demir in their roster. However, the team’s mid-jungle duo have struggled throughout the first few weeks of the LEC as they have earlier decided to sub out Gilius for rookie Lukas “Lurox” Thoma.

Forg1ven isn’t against returning to play however, should Schalke 04 implement much-needed changes to improve the team environment later on in the split. The Greek ADC will be replaced by Nihat “Innaxe” Aliev from their academy roster.
