Facebook Gaming Launches ‘Tournaments’ Feature
Facebook Gaming has released a brand new feature designed to bring gamers together amidst the Coronavirus pandemic.
As its name suggests, Tournaments will allow users to organize their own esports tournaments. Users can hold competitions among friends or opt to open it to the general public. These events can also be customized to be played in a variety of tournament formats (round-robin, single-elimination).

Tournaments events have been designed to make them easy for fans to follow as they automatically update brackets and leaderboards. The feature also has built-in fundraising tools that gaming content creators can utilize by hosting tournaments aimed at supporting Coronavirus relief.
Tournaments is currently in the ‘early-access’ phase.
