As the playoffs in the West continue, FlyQuest came in clutch against Team SoloMid 3-2 while G2 Esports came back from their loss against MAD Lions and took down Origen 3-1.

In the League of Legends Championship Series in North America, TSM and FlyQuest had a back-and-forth series with teamfight-oriented compositions centering on picks such as Tristan “PowerofEvil” Schrage’s Azir or Zilean-Aphelios on the side of Team SoloMid. In the end, FlyQuest proved themselves to be the better team and put out TSM’s hopes of a championship finish with a decisive 27-minute Game 5 win.

Meanwhile in Europe, G2 Esports made a statement after getting sent down to the loser’s bracket at the hands of MAD Lions earlier on in the League of Legends European Championship playoffs. G2 went 3-1 against Origen with Rasmus “Caps” Winther redeeming himself with a pentakill on Ezreal at the start of the series.
