Team Liquid’s Doublelift Reportedly Up For Trade

As reported by Travis Gafford, according to sources within the league, Team Liquid’s marksman Yilliang “Doublelift” Peng has his contract reportedly up for trade.
Team Liquid have had their difficulties throughout LCS Spring 2020, failing to make playoffs with a disappointing 7W-11L standing in ninth place. Even after jungler Mads “Broxah” Brock-Pedersen’s visa was finally approved, Team Liquid still could not find the success they were hoping for when they put together their all-star roster.
Now, since their playoff dreams have been cut short, Team Liquid is reevaluating their choices coming into summer. Doublelift’s contract will be ending by the end of the year which could affect a team’s willingness to trade him in and renew a contract for the following year.
Despite a subpar split on Doublelift’s behalf citing a lack of motivation, the all-star ADC will be sure to bounce back in the coming future – whether or not in Team Liquid.
