Riot to Hold LCK vs. LPL Showdown in 2020 Mid-Season Cup
The top four teams from the LPL and the LCK will be competing in a special League of Legends Mid-Season Cup starting on May 28, 2020.
Since the cancellation of MSI 2020 due to COVID-19, Riot Games put the Mid-Season Cup together to create a meaningful inter-league competition for the world to spectate in these times.
The competing teams are as follows:

- Top Esports
- FunPlus Phoenix
- Invictus Gaming
LCK
- T1
- Gen. G
- DragonX
- DAMWON Gaming
The competition will be held online with LCK teams playing from LoL Park in Seoul while the LPL teams will be playing from the Shanghai LPL Arena. To ensure the integrity of competition, the players will be playing at 30-40m/s standardized by the use of third party tools.
