E-Gilas Pilipinas Sweep Indonesia 5-0 in FIBA Esports Open
The Philippines, whose hardcourt supremacy in the region has long been established, is showing signs of taking that dominance to the electronic realm after crushing Indonesia 5-0 in the inaugural FIBA Esports Open.
Team Philippines dominated the series from start to finish, wrapping up most games with nearly double their opponent’s points. Rial Polog Jr., an NBA2K Draft prospect, finished the fifth and final match with 25 points to top the team’s scoring charts for the third time.
