VICE Esports Announces All-Filipino Dota 2 Roster
VICE Esports recently revealed an all-Filipino Dota 2 squad composed of an interesting mix of veteran players and fresh faces. Their full lineup is:
1. Cris “Sirc” Lachica
Hailing from Antipolo, the explosive carry was crowned Rookie of the Year in MPGL 2014 in his first professional stint at Infamous. He also had success playing for teams such as Neon Esports, Execration, Bren, Arkangel, and Skyville in the past.
2. Anton “Bob” Urbina
The youngest member of the squad is a Dota 3v3 starlet from Quezon City. He made a name for himself playing for the Sterling Global Dragons at the Nationals.
3. Michael Roi “Enryu” Ladines
The underrated offlaner recently reached the 9k MMR club and has two other accounts at 8k. He has previously played for Neon Esports and Kingpins.
4. Kryte “LuziFy” Gabriel
The VICE Esports captain has plenty of experience playing for teams across the region, having enjoyed stints at Pacific, Neon Esports, Buriram, LowKey Esports, and Kingpins.
5. Ryniel “Zenki” Calvez
A promising player from Cavite, Zenki is skilled at playing any role. He has played for teams like Sandbox, Miraculum, and KingPins.
Coach Chris Ian Francis “CTY” Maldo
CTY has guided teams both in the local and international scene, having coached Quid Pro Quo, Sterling Global Dragons, Buriram United, MS Chonburi, and LGD International.
