Worlds 2020 To Push Through Starting September 25
The tenth League of Legends World Championship will push through starting September 25 in Shanghai, China.
To ensure the health and safety of the players and staff, all stages of the 2020 World Championship will be held exclusively in Shanghai. The Finals of Worlds 2020 to conclude on October 31 will be held in the brand-new Pudong Soccer Stadium.
According to Riot Games, the early stages of the tournament will not be played in front of a live audience. However, if local guidelines will allow for audiences later on, information will be shared later this summer.
For 2021, Worlds will be returning to China for the full multi-city World Championship tour. While in 2022, Worlds will be returning to North America.
