In the final week of the League of Legends European Championship, Schalke 04 Esports and Fnatic secure the last remaining playoffs slot. Meanwhile, Rogue take first place and qualify for Worlds 2020.

After a grueling first half of summer, Schalke 04 Esports narrowly made playoffs over Excel Esports to complete the miracle run from 0-9. On the way to the #S04MiracleRun, the struggling team had to take down the likes of Fnatic, G2 Esports, and MAD Lions to make it to playoffs.

Meanwhile, Fnatic secured playoffs after defeating SK Gaming despite their subpar performances in Summer. When the playoffs begin on August 22, Fnatic will be hoping to redeem themselves against Rogue in the first round of the playoffs.
