06:33 PM August 24, 2020

The onslaught of the COVID-19 pandemic has prevented freshmen all over the world from setting foot in their respective schools for the first time and kicking off their college life on a high note.

Incoming freshmen of the University of Santo Tomas (UST), however, will still be able to participate in the yearly Thomasian Welcome Walk when they take a virtual tour of the UST campus courtesy of the school’s very own Minecraft Server.

The UST Minecraft Campus Tour will be streamed on the UST Tiger TV Facebook page this Friday starting at 3 PM. Incoming freshmen will be able to explore the 21.5-hectare UST Manila campus on a dedicated Minecraft server that was constructed by over 80 UST students.

Incoming freshmen can fill out the tour application here.
