Top Esports Stand Atop JDG To Win LPL Summer Split 2020
Top Esports gets their revenge against JD Gaming 3-2 to become the LPL Summer Split 2020 Champions.
After a gritty back-and-forth series, Top Esports finally took the domestic crown away from JD Gaming and secured first seed for Worlds 2020.
Throughout the finals, Top Esports and JD Gaming went blow for blow and took games off another in the best-of-five series. Junglers Hung “Karsa” Hao-Hsuanand and Seo “Kanavi” Jin-hyeok were the key players of the series, fighting for leads for their teams.
When it came down to it, Top Esports came in clutch despite an early-game disadvantage. At 35-minutes into the game, Top Esports kept it cool and pressured JD Gaming at the Elder Dragon and aced them to take the championship.
Top Esports stands as the best team of the LPL, and look to defend China’s crown in the League of Legends World Championship 2020.
