The Philippine Pro Gaming League 2020 (PPGL) is back for its second and final season of the year when it rolls out with a PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Mobile (PUBG Mobile) tournament this November.

Despite the limitations for physical gatherings, the league still wants every aspiring Filipino pro gamer to succeed in their gaming dreams even as everyone plays from home, sticking to the online-only format it introduced in the previous season.

Following the PUBG Mobile tournament for the entirety of November, PPGL will end the year with a Call of Duty: Mobile (COD Mobile) tournament in December. In an effort to serve a new gaming community, the league will also expand its offering with a Rocket League side tournament.

Thanks to Mineski Philippines and Globe, the final season will have over Php 900,000+ worth of prize pool plus rewards for all its viewers and supporters. Lastly, long-time fans of the PPGL should expect entertaining gaming-centric shows featuring a few surprise celebrity appearances.

PPGL is also proud to announce the league’s partnership with The Madrigal Project, which will provide aspiring shoutcasters the perfect platform to hone their craft as the PPGL will allot caster slots for PPGL-exclusive sessions as well as handing these aspirants some knowledge care of industry veterans.

“Our partnership with Mineski Philippines has been beyond fruitful especially with the PPGL,” shares Globe Esports Head DC Dominguez. “It has been a remarkable journey with the team, despite the limitations, we’ve been able to pull off PPGL 2020,” Dominguez added.

Meanwhile, Mineski Philippines general manager Mark Navarro has expressed his excitement over the new developments of the league. “Here in Mineski Philippines, we want to serve as many gaming communities as possible and grow with the playerbase. Some of our featured tournaments started as side activities and only became a much bigger investment for us as we continued to listen to what our fans wanted to watch or play. We want gamers across the country to feel that Mineski enables their passion for gaming and builds a community for them to thrive in,” he said.
