Team SMG Reveal Dota 2 Roster with ninjaboogie, Mushi
The regional league qualifiers for the SEA region are shaping up to be a thrilling affair with another promising team entering the fray.
Singapore-based, multi-esport organization Team SMG have revealed their all-new Dota 2 roster composed of former Mineski stars Chai “Mushi” Yee Fung and Michael “ninjaboogie” Ross Jr. They are joined by an interesting mix of up-and-coming Malaysian talent.
The full lineup is as follows:
- Chai “Mushi” Yee Fung
- Michael “ninjaboogie” Ross Jr.
- Cheng “vtFαded” Jia Hao
- Tue “ah fu” Soon Chuan
- Muhammad Ammar “neah666” Rasulli

“Dota 2 is a game I’ve been passionate about since I was a kid,” said founder JJ Lin on Twitter. “Today we finally bring it to a professional level by announcing the Team SMG Dota 2 division, game on!”
Team SMG started off as an organization that focused on Arena of Valor but has since then expanded to titles such as Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, PUBG Mobile, and Valorant.
Their participation in the upcoming Dota Pro Circuit 2021 – Southeast Asia Upper Division Closed Qualifiers on the 4th of January will be their first foray into the professional Dota 2 scene.
