Genshin Impact Releases Adeptus Xiao and Lantern Festival in 1.3

Genshin Impact’s long-awaited adeptus Xiao, the Vigilant Yaksha has just been released in Patch 1.3 of the open-world fantasy.

Since his playtest in the game’s Closed Beta in the past year, players of the hit title have been expecting the release of the demon-slaying Yaksha ever since the game’s release. Starting February 3, players will finally be able to unlock and play Xiao in Teyvat with the release of his own limited character banner.

The arrival of Xiao in the coming patch brings a host of events for players to partake in in the Lantern Rite festival. Earn rewards such as primogems, mora, intertwined fates, and the like in their upcoming events:

  • Five Flushes of Fortune, February 10-13
  • May Fortune Find You, February 11-26
  • Night Sky’s Grace, February 26 till end of Patch 1.3
  • Ley line Overflow, February 26 to March 5

If that wasn’t enough, Genshin Impact will be releasing an exclusive banner for Keqing from February 17 to March 2, 2021. This marks the first time that one of the 5-star characters from the originally-released lineup will have their own limited banner.
