Dragon’s Blood: Dota 2 Anime set for Netflix Premiere on March 25
Someone once said “the finest of pleasures are always the unexpected ones,” and who could’ve possibly expected this? A Netflix anime series based on Valve’s hit multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) Dota 2.
The show’s official synopsis on Netflix is as follows:
“The sweeping fantasy series tells the story of Davion, a renowned Dragon Knight devoted to wiping the scourge from the face of the world. Following encounters with a powerful, ancient eldwurm as well as the noble Princess Mirana on a secret mission of her own, Davion becomes embroiled in events much larger than he could have ever imagined.”

News of this gravity is bound to hype the playerbase, so a sudden uptick in Dragon Knight’s pick rate shouldn’t come as a surprise.

It’s a good thing that by Dota 2 standards, DK is a fairly straightforward hero to play. This increase in pick rate shouldn’t be as disruptive as the times when cosmetics for more complex heroes, (cough, Pudge Arcana) came out.
DOTA: Dragon’s Blood is slated to have eight episodes and will premiere on March 25, 2021, at 3:00 PM in the Philippines.
