Wild Rift, League of Legends Joins MLBB in 31st SEA Games Hanoi 2021
The 2021 Southeast Asian Games will be featuring League of Legends and League of Legends: Wild Rift alongside Mobile Legends: Bang Bang from November 21 to December 2, 2021 in Hanoi, Vietnam.
The upcoming 31st SEA Games will be including esports once again with returning titles such as Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and all-new games such as League of Legends and Cross Fire. According to a report, the full list of games are as follows:
- Arena of Valor (Mobile)
- PUBG Mobile – Team
- PUBG Mobile – Individual
- FreeFire (Mobile)
- League of Legends (PC)
- League of Legends: Wild Rift (Men and Women’s)
- FIFA Online 4 (PC)
- Cross Fire (PC)
- Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (Mobile)
The 31st SEA Games will see Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, East Timor, and Vietnam competing across 40 sports. The event is set to kick off on November 21, 2021 in the Rach Chief Sports Complex.
The Philippines was the overall champion for esports at the 2019 Southeast Asian Games. Compared to 2019, the coming SEA Games will not feature Dota 2, Starcraft II, Hearthstone, and Tekken.
